Profile

Jim Sherman joined VFS in May 2019 as the Society's Director of Strategic Development, responsible for setting and executing the Society’s strategy for promoting membership development and growth. He is responsible for supporting the development of the "Electric VTOL Revolution."

Prior to VFS, he was the SAE International events focal point for aerospace and electronics applications, providing leadership in developing new programs for all mobility sectors.

Mr. Sherman’s industry experience has been in the area of ground vehicle power and propulsion systems and aircraft flight and engine controls.
