Bill Minkoff is President and a founding partner of Advanced Air Mobility Advisors, LLC, and a partner in AltiSky, Inc., an authorized Tecnam Aircraft sales and service center. Bill began his aviation carrier in the United States Navy serving as an attack pilot aboard The USS Midway, CV-41, and as a Replacement Air Group Tactics Instructor.
Bill served as Chairman, Light Jets Europe, Oxford, UK and as Speaker and Co-Chair of the Indian Business Aviation Expo IBAE in New Delhi, India. He has also presented at The National Training Aircraft Symposium. He served as Chairman of the All-Airline Safety Meeting. A former member of the Aviation Accreditation Board International, Bill participated in accreditations both in the US and abroad. Bill co-authored the Delta Air Lines Aviation Safety Action Program, ASAP and was a senior member of Delta’s Critical Incident Response Team. He also served as a base safety chairman for the Airline Pilots Association.
Minkoff holds a BA in Economics from Rutgers University and earned his MBA in International Finance from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. In addition to his 300 aircraft carrier landings, Bill holds an Airline Transport Pilots Certificate (ATP) with type ratings in various aircraft from light to heavy jets. He is currently serves as Vice President of the Advanced Air Mobility Association and as First Vice President of the A-7 Corsair II Association.
