Thierry Allain is an aeronautical engineer graduated from ENAC in 1983. After a short stint at Transport Canada, he spent his entire career at the DGAC in various positions. From 2009 to early 2017, he was Security Director at the Directorate of Civil Aviation Safety (DSAC) responsible of the organization at the national level the control of operators and personals implementing security measures in air transport (aerodrome operators, airlines, cargo, ...). Between 2017 and 2020, he is the CIO of the DGAC, responsible for a department of 120 people in charge of the development and maintenance in operational conditions of the Management Information Systems of the DGAC. Since 2021, he has been appointed Innovation program manager at the DSAC and, as such, focal point for e-VTOLs and airships. He coordinates the various DGAC actions required for the eVTOL Paris 2024 experimentation project conducted by ADP and Volocopter.Sessions
