Marc Duval-Destin has been appointed Vice-President for Stategy, Products & Innovation for Thales Flitght avionics Business Line end of 2020.
He joined Thales Group in 2012 after more than 11 years in the automotive sector and 16 years in the French Ministry of Defence.
He hold various responsibilities such as Research & Advanced Engineering at PSA Peugeot Citroen and Leclerc Main Battle Tank Program Director at “Délégation Générale pour l’Armement”
In the avionics domain, he managed Engineering teams before creating Flight Avionics Innovation initiative “” in 2019. During the last 3 years, Alpha launched successfully innovative projects such as UAS 100, sole drone programs applicant for SAIL 6 operations, by EASA, or Flying Whales partnerships for Avionics and Flight Controls on the LCA 60t Airship.
He is fully engaged for sustainable aviation.
Marc has a strong background both in Engineering and Physics. He graduated from Paris Polytechnique school, and the french Space & Aeronautics Engineering school in Toulouse.
He holds a PhD in theoretical physics.
